Surakarta Police Chief and Forkopimda Attend Zoom Meeting to Monitor Public Order and Security Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah

Surakarta Police-Central Java Police- Surakarta Police Chief Senior Commissioner. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) attended a zoom meeting to monitor the public order and security situation (Kamtibmas) ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. This activity took place at the Beteng Vastenburg Service Post in Surakarta, Sunday night (30/3/2025).

In this meeting, the Chief of Police directly monitored the security conditions in various provinces to ensure that the situation remains under control ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

Surakarta Police Chief Senior Commissioner. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH, reported that the security situation in Surakarta so far has been monitored as safe and conducive. Traffic flow is also busy but remains smooth.

“We have alerted hundreds of personnel to ensure security and smooth traffic in the city of Bengawan,” said the Police Chief. The Police Chief added that security will not only be carried out tonight, but also during the implementation of the Eid prayer tomorrow. In order to maintain order and security, the Police Chief appealed to the public not to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in convoys, light firecrackers, or hold other activities that have the potential to cause security disturbances
