Surakarta Police Intensify Night Patrols During Eid Holidays

Surakarta Police- Central Java Police- Surakarta Police are intensifying patrols during hours prone to public order disturbances in the Surakarta city area, Tuesday (1/4/2025) night.

Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH through the Head of Samapta Police, Commissioner Arfian Riski Dwi Wibowo, SIK said that these patrols were carried out as a preventive measure to prevent public order disturbances during the Eid holidays, to anticipate criminal acts, such as robbery, snatching and theft of motor vehicles and other crimes.

“The patrol targets include vital objects, tourist attractions, banks, supermarkets, town squares, terminals, residential areas and other places considered prone to public order disturbances,” he said.

According to him, this patrol is a form of Polri service to the community in order to create a sense of security, comfort and a conducive public order situation.

“This patrol continues to be intensively carried out in the hope of preventing criminal acts, so that the Surakarta city area remains safe and conducive,” he added.

During the patrol, he said, officers gave an appeal to the community to participate in maintaining and preserving public order in order to create a safe and conducive situation.

This patrol, continued Kasat Samapta, is carried out, every vulnerable hour, namely morning, afternoon, evening and night.

“The increase in patrols is expected to create a conducive situation and anticipate various potential criminal acts that threaten the community,” he concluded.
