Surakarta Police- Central Java Police- Surakarta City Police moved quickly to control the Sahur On The Road activity that violated traffic regulations on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Surakarta City, Sunday (23/03/2025).
"At least 15 youths were secured by the Surakarta Police, because the dozens of youths had violated traffic regulations using an open-back car and some of the passengers were riding on the roof of the car so that it could endanger the passengers," said Surakarta Police Chief Kombes.Pol. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH.
"In addition, some of them also used motorbikes with brong exhausts," he said.
"Most of the dozens of youths who were secured came from outside the city of Solo, some from Sukoharjo and Boyolali," he added.
The Police Chief revealed that when a search was conducted in the back of the car they were using, officers secured 1 bottle of 600 ml Mineral Water Containing Ciu Type Alcoholic Beverage and 12 Plastic Firecrackers.
"The evidence that we managed to secure was 1 bottle of 600 ml Mineral Water Containing Ciu Type Alcoholic Beverage, 12 Plastic Firecrackers, 5 units of motorbikes with brong exhausts and 7 units of open-back cars," he explained.
"Next, we took the dozens of youths along with the evidence to the Surakarta Police Headquarters to be further processed in the form of those who brought liquor we carried out the Tipiring process, using brong exhausts was given a ticket by the Traffic Unit while those who brought firecrackers were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Unit," he explained.
