Surakarta Police- Central Java Police- Surakarta Police Samapta Unit carried out dialogic patrol activities in order to prevent real disturbances ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri/2025 AD. This patrol is intended to tackle various street crimes, thuggery, illegal racing, sarong wars, and other social ills, Wednesday (26/03/2025) night.
This patrol activity targeted several locations in the jurisdiction of Surakarta Police, including markets, vital objects, banks, crowded centers and locations that are often used as illegal racing venues.
During the patrol, officers provided appeals for public security and order (kamtibmas) at each location visited. The public was also reminded to be able to prevent and be aware of theft.
Surakarta Police Chief Sr. Comr. Pol. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH through the Head of Samapta, Police Commissioner Arfian Riski Dwi Wibowo, SIK stated that the result of this dialogic patrol was an increase in public awareness of the importance of security and legal compliance in daily activities.
"This patrol succeeded in motivating the public to participate in crime prevention efforts and increase vigilance. We also encourage them to immediately report to the police if a crime occurs," said the Head of Samapta
With this dialogic patrol activity, it is hoped that the jurisdiction of the Surakarta Police will remain safe and conducive, so that the public can carry out their daily activities calmly in the month of Ramadan, ahead of the 2025 Eid al-Fitr holiday.
