Surakarta Police – Central Java Police – Ahead of the 2025 Eid homecoming flow, Surakarta Police have deployed the Animal Unit (K-9) to secure the stations in Surakarta city.
“The deployment of the Animal Unit or K-9 from Surakarta Police is to anticipate unwanted things from entering the station, for example prohibited goods carried by passengers,” said Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Pol Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH, Tuesday (01/04/2025)
In addition, the Police Chief has also coordinated with the local PT. Kereta Api to further increase routine patrols by Polsuska officers.
The Police Chief said that the security personnel will secure the station area and patrol other important objects during the 2025 Eid holiday return flow.
“Train users are advised not to bring prohibited items, because if they are found, we will immediately take them to the Surakarta Police Headquarters to be processed according to procedure,” said the Police Chief.
The Police Chief added that the search was carried out thoroughly to anticipate the presence of suspicious items.
“The search was also carried out outside the train that was stopping at Solo Balapan Station to anticipate the possibility of prohibited items being carried by passengers,” he concluded.
